In the Gameplay trailer did anyone observe any blood or battling seqeunces etc. that could make the game be rated T?

Unfortunetly there was only soo much of the trailler that we could see. I didn't see much noticeable blood, but the game looked kinda dark. Also I don't think that any company wants you to see any major content in a spyro game. But I did see some blood in one or two of the photos, so we're going to have to see when the rating comes out.

Yes there were only 40 seconds of ACTUAL gameplay. Do you think this is what Sierra was talking about when they said "The Trailer will come out soon but not soon enough?" I wouldn't really call THIS a trailer but it is still nice to see.smilie

And it did seem pretty dark. It might get an E10+ rating for violence like the others.

I don't know. Seeing as though there are alot of dark settings in the game. Like the one where Spyro was on this platform and down below you could see a war going on in what looks to be an 8-bit perspective (like Nintendo Entertainment System graphics), Spyro and Cynder spitting out their breaths (which by the way, his fire breath was very huge) in the giant lava monster's mouth, and flying away from a raging lava flow. Also, their are much more menacing enemies such as skeleton bones, giant rock monsters and other weird beasts. Spyro's moves such as grabing enemies and slaming them in to the ground also reminded me of something I've seen in Super Smash Bros Brawl.

In short, it all seems to look more like a war game. It's possible that this game could be a E+10, but giving my review from what I've seen so far, this game may be the first to be rated T.

Well there was certainly much more destruction going on in this game than the other two. At least in the console version, and it didn't look very E10+. Also the DS version looked like it could use an E10+. Also ESRB did say that it could contain content inapropriate for children.

i think there might be a little blood, maybey spyro gets cut in a (no pun intended) cut-scene. just a small cut though like:

malefor: now you will die! *swipes at spyro*

spyro:*dodges but get a small cut on paw* ow!

malefor: thats just the begining!

*cue gamplay boss fight with malefor*

Could be. I think it will be the same as ANb and TEN, except for the part where we see that cat-like animal on the wall with all the bloody scratches on the floor.

I'd like to see a bit of FMV work and more gameplay before I judge what it's more likely to be rated...or the rating is officially announced.

Well I did not actually SEE any thing that would give the game a "Teen" rating. As far as I could see it was just as violent as the other games but a bit darker in setting. Such as the Lava type Catacombs.

It is more likely it will be T. The game is aimed at a much older audience.

Well if a Spyro game was rated T it would be for Violence maybe some animated blood.

Give it a month or two before they decide on the rating. I don't know why I debate on the ERSB rating given that my country's system is different smilie. I think, for Australia, it'll get PG or M (equivalents of E10+ and T).

First I think...Man I haven't played that game in ages!8D

Well I think there was this little fire area where you had to collect something or do something in order to get this little flying car type thingie and fly it over the fire area so you wouldn't get burn't. It was pretty dark...

Yeah sure jak gets beatten up and his enviroments are dark. But spyro's enviroments are as dark, not to mention the violence in this game. Also, I think that there is blood in the game as well as the other pieces of dark elements. This preatty much sums it up too a teen rated game here. Also if ESRB had the chance, I bet they would have made Jak and daxter rated E10+
