Ok, so I haven't heard or seen any three packs for this wave. There are suppose to be 9 according to GameStop, but there are only 3, not including the Lightcore one at Target. So has anyone heard anything?

I wonder in those nine if they are counting the two battle packs as part of the nine. It wouldn't surprise me. Also I think we will have two more waves so that makes 5-7 if you don't count the lightcore. Might have a triple pack with the new variants in it.

Battle packs don't count.

You are correct on that point. However we have four out right now.

As far as we know, there doesn't appear to be one for this wave. Doesn't really make that much sense, but I wonder if they're just gonna stick to the regular grouping (ie, 2 S2 characters and one new one) or if they'll do something new (like 3 S2 guys) because that's all that's left now.

We might see two more Triple Packs, one featuring Fright Rider, and one with Jet-Vac, but the likelihood of anymore is slim. They wouldn't extract Hot Dog and Shroomboom out of the Battle Packs, they're one of the selling points for those things. And I can't see a triple pack with just variants in it... I think gamestop has false information

Yeah Gamestop's website sometimes is a bit slow. They have had "Lightcore Hex" up with a picture of Lightcore Jet-Vac.
