Target today on sale Blue WII bundle with Gnarly $ 125. Had to seriously think about buying it. However justified it because of Mario games for my kids.

Congrats. I want a gnarly tree rex. I am going to hope after Christmas the price will come down just a bit on evilbay and I can pick one up at that time.

Bought it, kept Gnarly, sold the Wii for $150 (Seriously! Holiday season, am I right?), Jet-Vac and Cynder for $8 a pop, Giants (the game) for $30, the portal for $15... So overall, Gnarly cost me $-61, for a total profit of 61 bucks. The less you need of the bundle, the cheaper it gets to keep Rex.

Wish my wife would see it that way. She see 150 bucks for a Wii that we already have. I told her we could see the other stuff.

Think I'm going to let the kids pick up some used games and see what happens. I'd part it out but I'm not sure it's worth the time. Maybe I'll send it over to the grandparents house so they have a system to play there. Either way the price was right for what they got. $125 ? That's cheap for a system even a dated one, with a game they like and a cool extra character to use. And I get two more repaint figures!

Awesome!! I did the same with mine but only made back my money for the most part, all in all a free gnarly tree rex is pretty awesome too!! Green Gill Grunt was another story... I found the starter pack with him for sale at the local version of Gamestop for only $25, so i bought it and sold the game and portal on ebay ($40) as well at trigger happy ($10... I kept spyro to make a custom with since i'm a big classic spyro fan, lol)... so i ended up making over $25 to get the Green GG and an extra Spyro!! Selling the extras you don't need really helps these figures to be much more affordable!! smilie

Lawl, it was my wife's idea. Wasn't until she had shown me the math that I consented. Worked out great, though, and Gnarly is my favorite Giant.

^ Awesome!! Then it was super worth it!! smilie My fav released giant so far is maybe Swarm or Crusher, but I'm pretty excited to use Thumpback and Eyebrawl down the road!! I'm hoping they're not as much of a let down as Shroom Boom was (I had high hopes for that toadstool-esque lil guy)!! lol smilie
