It's at TRU today. Just got one.

They are now all over the place at trus.

Sadly, my Toys R Us didn't get the memo.

Or more likely they didn't distinguish between the red 12/20 label and the orange 12/23 one. Mine didn't at first, he went back and looked again and found them after I mentioned that. He showed me the 12/23 boxes at first, but said he had no directive on those so he couldn't sell them. It isn't just laziness (sometimes it is), the labels look identical, except for the color and date - it would be very easy to miss. The guy brought them out and I pulled mine directly from the box.

Getting up at 5 am to clear out a TRU shipment before parents and people that will actually play with them is hard work. I had my pick out of the box this morning, I cannot even imagine thinking about pulling all of them out of the boxes in order to screw people out of $20 a piece.

I don't know why people would buy them out anyway. Up until now, all of the Skylanders for Giants were for the most part easy to find (aside from Hot Head, but that could be because of Frito's promotion). They won't be selling for that price for too long.

They try to catch the people that either don't care about the price and want it right now or aren't aware that it is available and think they have found something secret. They also prey on people from outside the country that haven't gotten it in yet. Some of it is speculation too, they set it at a high price and leave it there, hoping if it doesn't sell it eventually becomes hard to find.

Honestly, they only one that makes sense to me is the people outside the country that cannot order it from the TRU website. And even then, it is quite a premium to pay for a few weeks of impatience.
