Now, I am always skeptical of people doing custom paint jobs. However, if I were to believe this, it would only be because it has the new sticker on it, thus a new chance for a variant (which would also be the first LC variant).

Well, I'm calling bollocks on it for now. In all the variants we've seen, the entire thing was painted one color. It doesn't make sense for them to not color Prism's eyes because they don't light up.

Alternatively, it'd be interesting to see what color the arms light up as. The Hot Head variants had a blue colored flame on his head, but this one doesn't appear to have different one.

Now, on the flip side, Universe DOES have a 4th icon for Prism Break, which would indicate that there SHOULD be another variant at some point for him, but I would have suspected it to be the regular S2 Prism Break since it's a new release.

Looks fuzzy. Yeti prism break. cool. ill never buy it unless i stumble across it so, whatever. but i like it

I have a feeling it may be real. As spyroflame said, we should be seeing a new Prism Break variant at some point, thanks to Universe. It is in the 'new' Lightcore from Wave 3 too. I say it is real.

I asked the seller to see what color he lights up. I was thinking the same thing. Maybe they went yeti with him, but at the same time, all variants are the same color.

It does seem to be flocked. Also, if you remember, flocked Stump Smash had his normal eyes, too.

EDIT: Perhaps wave 3 variants are all flocked?

^This. Flocked Stump Smash had normal eyes.

If its a fake it is very well done. But then sell it as a custom if its fake. Im sayin real, but only under the assumption somebody in china stole it out of the factory or something along those lines.

Probably real, meaning one more very expensive toy to hunt down.

Welp as we said before, we saw an odd Gill Grunt and Prism Break on Universe..

And, by new sticker, this is Wave 3, where the LC's will have a sticker that says "Light's Up!".

What do you mean by NEW STICKER?

Look on the package of the Skylander itself. It has the sticker on the bubble that says "Lights Up," which is appearing on all Lightcore figures starting with wave 3.

I have coined a variant name. He shall now be referred to as YETI!

Or: WINTER BREAK!

If this is real, I'll probably see it in one of the boxes at walmart on the 23rd. :c I'm going there pretty early in the morning. And; I'm going to be at TRU when they open, though I'm sure the employee's will take them for themselves, if they have them..


Edit: By the way, a good thing to do is ask the seller to send you a pic of them putting it in-game. If it comes up as "special" then you know for sure it's real. Lol. Like ask them to show you proof of whether it'll actually work or something.

I am having a hard time believing it is real. But just for the fact that the seller doesn't take returns, and also, I would think that if this was to be real then how come no one has even placed a bid on it, and did the seller get a hold of it but yet no one else in the world has even seen it yet. And lastly, take a close look at the of his hands were the crystal part of his hands meet the felt. It looks a little sketchy to me, like it was hand made. But that is just my opinion because the truth is, that their is one more variant for Prism Break that has not been released yet.

The seller just added pics of the figure lighting up.

that's the normal green isnt it? Kinda makes a it a little more sketchy since hot heads lights were a different color, but i guess time will tell if we see more listed later

Some one should ask how he obtained it. If it was real, and he has it then the only way that could be would be to say that stores such as walmart have them on inventory but are holding them until release day, and the seller is an employee there (probably IMS or stocking employee) and they snatched it. But my problem with that is, I know IMS associates at Walmart and have not heard of something like this. Also, like I said before, the felt that ends at the bottom of his crystal hands looks chopped almost as if it was cut by hand.us If it was real I would think it would have been cut alot smoother and not so obviousely jagged. But this is just my opinion, it could be real none the less, I just think it's a very good custom.

Hey, Chris, I have a suggestion for you. Maybe you can throw it around the TFB offices? I was thinking that with each game, you guys could keep changing the color of the bases on the figures, but to the colors of the 8 elements. You already have green (Life) and orange (Tech). Next game could have purple (Magic) bases, or cyan (Air), blue (Water), red (Fire), grey (Undead), and brown (Earth).

I can't say I am a fan of the color brown, but it would still be cool to have each element as the color of the Skylanders' bases.

It's just an idea.

Also, more Adventure Packs and Magical Items, please?

Now that we know it is real, here is the question that REALLY matters....

Does it show up as 'Special' in game and as a seperate character in Universe, or is it another hit and miss like the Rock and Glitter variants?

hmmm, as wave 1 already has granite crusher to keep with the rock type naming maybe maybe slate whirlwing, slate zook, quartz sprocket, quartz sonic boom and (the elusive) quartz hot head ?

I am just going to go with what everyone knows them as.

Rock and Glitter. The make the most sense to me, honestly.

They should an "Ancient" variant and make them look rusted and old such as Ancient Drill Sargeant, or Ancient Cynder and have be different in game like the legend's.

Stone, Glitter, Snow imo.

Stone - That's what they look like! I've seen some "pewter" descriptions, and it is fitting but they aren't metallic, and "granite" but granite is more speckled and has more colors

Glitter - There's already silver (and people calling them that makes confusion!), and opalescent/pearlescent paint has much finer sparkly particles, it definitely isn't like pearl Hex. Also similar to goldstone, but I don't know if that can be made in the right colors.

Snow - Flocked would be good too, but snow is a better description, white, released in December, lots of indoor Christmas things have white flocking, etc. There's already "ice" so the same kinda theme would be neat.

Prism Break looks neat, but as always I hope that they plan on improving production on these variants so the only way to get them won't be paying a store employee $100+ for one.

Dont know if you saw, but if you look at all the pictures he posted 2 pictures of the prism break on the portal.
