Today I discovered that my Hot Head is no longer working. I'm not getting the error message or being asked to remove the toy from the Portal. Hot Head's flames don't light up at all and obviously he's not appearing ingame. I'd rather not return the character to Activision, or buy a new one, but does anyone have any ideas what I could do?

And, worst case scenario, has any one ever had to get a replacement from Activision that can tell me their average turnaround?

i called em up when my dog ate my dark spyro they took some info and sent me a new got it in about a week

Did they have you send your Skylander off to them or did they just ship you a new one after taking your information?

They ask for the modeling number and they just ship away

When I bought the giants starter pack the portal didn't work. This is my first skylanders game so obviously I couldn't play the game. I called them up, I made an Activision account, sent them a picture and they sent one. I told the lady to wait until I told them to send it but they sent it anyways. This is because I returned it at GameStop. So now I have two working portals!

It's cords may be crossed on the light core ness. If they have been cut and touch each other then it won't work

When I bought my Crusher I did not realize at first but the eyes did not light up. My Granite Crusher worked fine so I went to Walmart to verify that the eyes light up and bought the one that tested fine. I returned the bad one along with the cardboard package and receipt that I just bought and got a full refund. I explained to the return department that it was defective. No questions, no problem.

My Eye Brawl has a crack in the eye ball and I have to send him into Activision to get a replacement. Looks like they are cracking down on the thieves. They emailed me a UPS label.

my bouncer doesnt light up but he still works in game. so i havent bothered to do anything. i might buy a new one in the future. but i highly doubt it.

Yeah, the lightcore is somewhat interesting at first, but it loses its appeal over time. If my LEDs stopped working, I might look into getting it replaced for free, but would definitely not pay for a new one.

Does anyone know how long it takes for them to mail you a new one? Like when it ships, how long will it take to get to you via UPS? I live in Mississippi.

I requested one and Sunday and it came today (Wednesday) and I live in the UK so it shouldn't be long
