There may be a rise of users to come on the site when Christmas comes through early January. So is there any chance that you could drop the percentage to 3 percent, so that the new mod/s could have a chance. Plus I'll post a help topic for the users that haven't been able to come on. Okay, and thank you.

I think it's reference to something FW has mentioned before. If I remember correctly, apparently there's a percentage limit of the number of people who can be online at a time compared to the number of users (never noticed it myself).

I presume he wants it lowered so that, assuming Skylanders is big in Christmas and a lot of new users join like last year, then less of them will be able to come online at once and so the to-be-moderators will have less people to moderate on.

I don't see the point personally.

My point is less people to keep an eye on, all because the moderator is new at keeping an eye on all the people that may or may not break the rules. Like how trolling has been the main issue, but they are young and have to learn first, some of them. The other issue is the older users not giving the younger or newer users any chance to see what it's like to be on a site like this one. So that's my point, and that will be something that moderators will have to keep an eye on. So rather have too many for possibly one moderator to keep an eye on, let's have a little less.

I don't agree with Forgotten World either, because if you want to be a moderator, it would make sense to already have knowledge about what you're doing, and there's no point in 'limiting' the amount of users to come online, they'd have to come on sooner or later anyway. And I'm sure more than one moderator can be chosen? I was thinking more like at least three should be chosen for a site like this.

Why exactly are we assuming more users are going to cause more a of a problem? It will certainly increase traffic in once specific section of the board: Skylanders. I see minimal changes in activity level for the rest of the forums.

Yeah, I understand completely what you mean.
Obviously the Skylanders section would be more 'popular' because it's just came out, and it has attracted a lot of attention.

There's only a small handful of bad apples in the Skylanders only member group. The rest are okay although they have the tendency to make the same topics over and over again. Most likely because they want attention/popularity. It's a pretty common thing for that age bracket, and since they observe their peers getting other members posting in their topic (which is positive reinforcement on a variable interval), observational learning theory dictates they're likely to replicate the behavior, hence duplicate topics. <.<;

I'm not saying they are. But the ones that tend to ONLY view the Skylanders sub-forums definitely seem to be. <.<

What "age bracket" are we talking about? I'm ten. Does that mean I only check the Skylanders sub-forums? No.

Do I need to be moderated? I don't know. You tell me.

You're reading my logic wrong. You're interpreting the converse of my statement. I'm not saying "all young members only check the Skylanders sub-forums," I'm saying, "members who only check the Skylanders sub-forum are most likely some of our youngest." <.<

No they don't. You have no proof or evidence whatsoever spyrobaro. You can't make things up and then tell somebody else that they are inaccurate.

I don't think so. Some of them don't want to join because they're simply looking up walkthroughs, cheat codes, ect., for the games.

I agree. Also, maybe some of them are shy. I know I was shy and viewed Facebook as a guest for awhile before getting an actual account. <.<

No, actually she does know. It's called experience. You learn things. And speaking of experience, you don't have enough to tell anyone that the facts they said were wrong.
