i read on a topic earlier that if a skylander, for example, smilie completes all of his personal quests he get spikes on his armor, is that true? And does that go for all skylanders?

Tree Rex gets his armor when fully upgrading him on a path. As far as I know no gets anything but the golden top hat for completing all the quests.

It doesn't happen for Chill, Swarm, or Crusher either.
