For those who have played both extensively, are the heroic challenges the same for characters that are in both games? For example is the Gill Grunt challenge in Spryo's Adventure the same as the Gill Grunt one in Giants?

If so, does beating it in both games give you a stat boost that stacks?

if any of the heroics done in the first game show up in the second game it will show that heroic was done. it wont change your stats. but you can do new heroics that wasnt in the first game and it will help your characters stats. write down your characters stats in the first game and compare them to the giants stats that it says and see if there is a difference before even doing heroic. cause if for example spyro series 1 attack 98, defense 92, critical hit 85, elemental hit 105, speed 88. see if those are the same numbers in the giant game or lower. cause if they are lower then doing the new heroics will only bring their stats back up to what you see now and show you did more heroics to get the same stats. and it wont help in the first game cause it will only show 32 even if you did the new heroics that wasnt in the first one.

spyros stats i posted was just a example not a accurate number cause im sure im way off.

I was thinking that Spyro's Adventure has 32 challenges and Giants would have 40 once all released (assuming LightCores don't have their own). If challenges of the same character don't stack then the most you could complete is 48 for S1 characters and backwards compatible S2. S2 only characters could complete 40. (They couldn't do the 8 Spyro's adventure ones for the 8 characters not in Giants, such as Sunburn, etc).

You can actually buy the ones of the figures that are not being reposed. I also heard that somewhere the figures from S1 are "nerfed" when you play them in Giants. I am not sure if this is true or not, however someone on here will be able to help us.

The Series 2 Skylanders unlock the same Heroic Challenges that they unlocked in the first game. However, some give different stat bonuses, for example, Bash's HC now rewards Elemental Power, as opposed to Critical Hit, and a few characters, such as Cynder and Zook, have all new challenges. Chop Chop also unlocks Cynder's HC, instead of his own, and Sunburn's, Warnado's, Camo's, Wham Shell's, and Ghost Roaster's HCs can be bought from Auric. The new characters and Giants also have original challenges as well.

There are minor changes to most Heroic Challenges.

For example: Whirlwind's challenge requires you to defeat cyclopses instead of pirates. But everything else about it is the same.

Another example: At the end of Trigger Happy's challenge you must defeat a Chompy Bot instead of a Tank.
