Man, I Love Hot Dog, but hes only appearing in the scorpion striker what the heck? I have a Little brother and Zap is his favorite Skylander, But he loves hot dog too! and you can't get hot dog in a single pack what the heck. does anyone know when molten hot dog comes out? and who should get who? because i am also getting shroomboom in the battle pack and chop chop is his 2nd favorite.

i dunno. no one knows when the variants are out, but for the scorpion striker, go in on it. your bro pays 1/2, and you pay 1/2, and you get hot dog, your bro gets zap, and you share the cannon.

I'm of the opinion Hot Dog won't be getting a single, nor will Shroomboom (although his Lightcore serves that purpose for some). Last Year's Adventure Pack exclusive figures never got single releases. The Battle Packs are kind of dumb anyways, why would *most* people buy them if they didn't have some carrot in the form of a special figure included?

As far as Molten Hot Dog is concerned, I think that and the variants will be marketing pushes toward the summer with some of the stores - like Blue Bash, Flocked Stump Smash and Red Drill. For all we know, Molten Hot Dog could just come in a special version of the Scorpion Striker Battle Pack at a store down the road, there is no valid information that says he will come out as a single. And it might be as late as Summer.

If you want Hot Dog, the best/fastest way is from Gamestop next month. Otherwise you just have to wait and see - and you still might not get it the way you want to. Get it and share Hot Dog, you cannot play more than one character at once. I'm sure he has a figure you would enjoy playing while he gives Hot Dog a run.

I'm still betting shroom and the dog will be in singles. The adventure packs are kind of different from battle packs. The adventure levels have the soul gems for the included character so it'd be odd to get the fig by itself and not be able to access one of his powers. The battle packs tho simply include a pvp stage, not a level. I wouldn't expect singles til the last wave tho.
