So, I was putting some of my loose figs on one of those new shelves that's way too overpriced when I noticed something. The GitD Cynder is smaller than the regular figure. The bases are the same size, but the GitD one is just a little bit smaller. You can see here, based on their height - but the shrinkage occurs in the entire figure.

Weird.

I see you have the coliseum. Can you tell me if they can stack on top of each other, or is the bottom of each coliseum flat, thus the 3 bubbles on top of each coliseum intrudes?

The bottom has grooves for stacking - but then, of course, you lose the ability to store any on top.

Two funny things. 1) The box says it works "with" the Battle Arena. Umm... I don't see any way that it would "interlock" or anything with it.. and the picture just shows it standing beside it. 2) TRU tried to sell me a "protection plan" for it. Yeah...

Hmm, I might have to get these now. Are the grooves on top big enough to fit Giants? If so, I would seriously grab 8 of these when they have a B1G1 sale on Skylanders again.

The space inside those things doesnt look that tall.....doesnt look like Cynder would even fit on the inside!. Kinda expensive aswell seeing as you would need a ton of em to display the collection. I'll stick with my shelving display I had made!

someone seriously needs to make knockoffs of the coliseum
just take it, go to renderforms or some place and make basically the same thing with some differences

That is interesting, I didn't notice it with my two Cynders. I just assumed that when they made glow variants, that they took a normal casted toy and painted it with glow material. This shrinkage, however, leads me to believe that the casting material is solid glow. Some materials shrink a little as they cure, and that could be the case here. Only way to know for sure is to cut a cross-section of one to see what material it is all the way through... but I won't be doing that with mine, lol!!
