I compared an original release legendary spyro figure to one just bought from toys r us. The paint jobs are SO different. The newer one is so sloppy... Its like they didnt even try. So i started looking at other series 1 figures in stores. Most look like they were painted by a 3 year old. Thats pretty lazy, Activision!

all skylanders made now a days have really crappy paint jobs. its really sad. i rather have the figures harder to find then to have them mass produce them with such bad paint jobs

The paint jobs vary pretty widely from one figure to another, for both SA and Giants figures. I'm pretty picky, but I've been able to find copies of all figures that I'm happy with. I just had to go through a lot of shelves to find them.

It's pretty typical for all mass-produced toys. It's just a little more obvious on Skylanders because the paint schemes are quite a bit more intricate than on a lot of other toys.

I think it is just because Acti doesn't want to make SSA figures anymore.

Activision is more like rushing the quality of the toys and are more focused on the quantity.
