how to put multiplayer on ps3 slim [CLOSED]

I all! i bought my ps3 slim skylanders 12 g yesterday but my question is how to put 2 players on the game since i can only have 2 places to the joystick and 1 is with the portal.

The controllers should be wireless, you don't need to keep them connected - that's just for recharging.

^Unless he has two wired controllers.

Go buy a USB hub that splits one port into four. You can get them for like $6.

^ The wired PS2 controllers do not work with the PS3 since the PS3 controllers were made with different sensor technology (you'd have to get an expensive adapter to make them compatible)... so you should not need to keep them plugged in/using up your USB ports... as Dark mentioned, that is only for recharging the controllers!! Charge them up, plug in your portal and it's game on!! smilie

There are also after market corded ps3 controllers so it is possible for them to have one. But since he just bought it I'm sure it came with a wireless controller. So only one would need to be plugged in along with the portal and the other should definetly be wireless.

Two things:

1. There are wired PS3 controllers. Lots of them and that has nothing to do with PS2 controllers.

2. PS2 to PS3 adapters are not expensive.

And Buy.com has about 10 more listings all under ten dollars. I use these and I've used them with PS2 controllers and wireless PS2 controllers and they work just fine. I've never had a problem. The only thing I can't get it to work with is wireless Guitar Hero controllers.
