Do you think there will be a golden version in this game or do you just redeem Amazon Flameslinger as the regular flameslinger?

The only non-Spyro, non-Legendary variant recognized by the iOS games is Royal Double Trouble.

Anyone else (including Granite Crusher, Punch Pop Fizz, the Glow in the Dark figures that are considered separate, "special" figures by the console games, etc) are treated as their regular series counterparts in Cloud Patrol / Lost Islands / Battlegrounds.

The Amazon-exclusive Flameslinger will be treated the same as Series 2 Flameslinger in terms of gameplay and registration.

Like many others, I kinda wish they WOULD make different versions of the characters in-game for all the variants. It wouldn't take much effort, and it'd help to tell the "true" variants from the customs. Some people are able to repaint their Skylanders so well they look BETTER than the actual variants!

And really, how much effort would it take? You take Pop Fizz, alter his colors somewhat, give him three unique quests that unlock once he hits Level 5, and that's it. His summoning animation is the same, his sprite animates the same, etc.

Just seems weird that they have NINE Legendary Variants (eventually ten when Chill comes out) and the Spyros, but official, common variants like Granite Crusher and Punch Pop Fizz are considered "lesser beings."

It might be because players could already register their Granite Crushers and Punch Pop Fizzes in the games as NORMAL characters, and Vicarious Visions doesn't want to deal with the situation if they added those characters in and the players wouldn't be able to RE-register them because "the code had already been used."
