I didn't know and I imagine many dont. Jcp has skylanders figures in the boys section with the tshirts. Saw them today. Singles and triples. Giants too. Dunno if they'll keep getting them thru the holiday season but I saw rider and lc jet vac which I haven't seen many of elsewhere. It's a good place to check if you're at a mall already.

Was it a decent size amount of figures?

It is only at big store of JCPenny's. I noticed to, and yes they have a lot, but only Wave 1.

I saw flashwing and sprocket but didn't bother to take a pic cause I didn't think it was needed. Meh, I might be going back with the wife this weekend, I'll snap one then if they're still there otherwise it didn't happen.

I stopped in a JC Penny's at the mall today. The Skylanders are with the Toy area for the holidays, although I'd wager they might be by the electronics too.



They had a very healthy selection of Skylanders, and a good number of Wave 2 guys (sans Hot Head and LC Jet Vac). Not pictured is a separate rack out front that had a bunch of 3 packs/battle packs on them. A lot of the 3 packs I saw were the Sprocket and Flashwing ones. If you're still looking for those guys, I'd say to check out your local JCP.

JC penny is definitely a good place to check out. All there Skylanders are on sale. Regular ones are 6 Light core are 7 and Giants are 10 plus they had a coupon that was good through today that gave you 20% off your entire purchase. They are also doing this promotion where you can put in a code from these buttons they give you and sometimes you get a 10 gift certficate. So with the 20% oof and a 10 gift certificate I got a

Fiend28, or anyone else, Anyone know how long this sale is on for? I've got Christmas shopping to do this week and will be at my Penneys on Wednesday. I just went to another JCP today. Just like Fiend28 said- all the brand new Skylanders are on sale!

My mom told me to grab some for christmas so I picked up Hex, Stump Smash and Double Trouble. For those looking for Skylanders or thinking about getting some for your kids/other people for Christmas, definitely check JCP out.

They even had an LC Jet-Vac there!

Wasn't going to pick up any of the regular giants figures until I found a really good deal, but this was it! With 15 dollars in certificates from the holiday promo, I picked up Fright Rider, Chill and Pop Fizz for 3 dollars and change. Also picked up Terrafin and Ignitor for 10 and change using the 20% off coupon.

Got a few more buttons today and won another 20 dollars, so will be back to pick up some more of the shelf warmers (probably Drobot, Whirlwind, Eruptor).

I checked em out this afternoon. They had bunches of the same figures everybody else has

Went to my closet Penney's today and they had no Skylanders at all. Asked about them and this store is not carrying them. However, I have another Penney's about 30-40 minutes away and called them and they said they have a lot, and they are on clearance. Going tomorrow or Thursday the first day I can, to check it out ad I need some of the Series 2 figs from wave 1 and 2. Also picked up some of the buttons you guys talked about and won 10.00 Awesome. I'm surprised this thread is not getting more attention, especially from parents that might be picking up some gifts. The skylanders are almost half off, combined with the christmas button contest, the figures are practically free. I've picked up 7 of the common characters for a dollar each, and all four of the lightcore characters today for 2 dollars each.

7 (lightcore) + 7 (lightcore) = 14 - 10 dollar certificate = 4 dollars.

Regular characters - $6
Lightcore characters - $7
Giants - $10

^ this so hard.
We went around to all the different checkout places and walked out of the stores with like...20 some buttons. Out of those, I won 3 $5 ones, 3 $10 ones, and my mom won a $50 one last night.

This is seriously the most fantastic deal so far for Giants. Buying them anywhere else right now is just silly!

EDIT: went to one today with some of my winnings. I picked up Bouncer completely free with my $10 holiday voucher. I also grabbed the Battle Pack with another $10 and paid $4.25 towards it. See, they take off the thing before tax which actually works out better because then you're taxed on what's left.

Also, 3 packs and Battle packs are $14.

You get the buttons when you buy something

Buttons are free. You can just go up to any of the checkouts and ask for them. If you're at the mall, there should be a few service center/checkouts as well as the salon and shoe departments. (Not the photo area though) You can hit all of those at one store and ask for some. Sometimes they'll let you choose two, other times they'll hand them to you.

Then you just go online and enter the codes. "Officially" you can only enter 2 a day, but you can enter as many as you want if you have different email addresses.
