Just last year I became a fan of Spyro , thanks to Skylanders . So I'm at Gamestop and what did I see ...Spyro DODTD for PS3 and Eternal Night for the Wii. I grabbed both. I let my son play it last night and the first thing that caught my attention was the combos. I kinda wanted to snatch that control from my son and start playing it. Stood my ground. B but now I can't wait to play it. Whhhhhhhhyyyyyy

Play it! NAO!

First, play A new Beginning.
Then play The Eternal Night.
Then you can play Dawn of the Dragon.

Uuuuuuu. Don't have A new Beginning. I think that's on a different console. But The Eternal Night I do have. The graphics look sweet on the PS3 bytheway

Holy crap. Its litterally impossible to find the Wii version let alone the PS3 version in my city game stores without paying a fortune. Im not paying $49.99 for a USED Ps3 copy of this game. :/

I saw little different between the PS3 and PS2 graphics. The former was much shinier and gave me a migraine. >.>

At spyrobeta. Go to your nearest gamestop ask for it if they don't have it they can ship it to you for free. At least that's what I was told.

o.0 WHAT? I just pay $24.99 for new PS3 copy of the game a few months ago, that's impressive...

I bought my copy (slightly used, but works perfectly) for equivalence of $11.08 at the moment (35 PLN if someone asks) I got it for birthday this year

If you really can't get A new beginning, watch it on Youtube.
Then go play the others.

A New Beginning is on Gamecube, which the Wii is backwards compatible with. You can get the game (it's $8 used on Amazon) and play it on the Wii as long as you have a GC controller (which you can also pick up relatively cheap).

While I usually have mixed opinions on the LoS games nowadays, I'd say that $8 is a good price for the game, even if it is used. Get it and play the games in order.

It seems the price on these games have not really gone down. Dotd was $24.99 used and new was $29.99. Why ? This game was released back in 2008. Could they become collectibles someday?

Well most current games retail for $50-$60, so I'd say that price sounds about right, given that it's been four years. Wow, it's been four years since I played DotD and gave it scathing criticism that I was one of the most disliked on the forums for awhile. >.>

I believe a brand new copy of DotD on PS3 is expensive. Last time I checked, it was considered a collector's item, and went for like, double the price of a new release on PS3.

The Xbox 360 version is the same as the PS3 version, minus the glossiness and six axis controls, but it also has achievements (which are pretty easy to get). And it goes for a more reasonable price.

I don't like this game at all, but me and brother actually just played through at the start of the year for giggles!

It's fun if you laugh. Wii doesn't look so good graphically and the controls are worthless though I'm sure it costs less?

Its meh, because of the wii controls.
