I personally love the new one a lot better. the old ones didn't have as strong of stories than the Legend of Spyro series.

I really like the idea of a more combat-based Spyro, and I also think the characters and story are better now...
But the old games had way bigger environments, better music (IMO), an awesome level design, and better replay value.

I guess I prefer the idea of the new games, but I also think they lack quality in many aspects... And quality-wise, I prefer the old games. smilie
And when I say quality, I don't mean graphics.

But I hope DotD will change my mind.

Thats also why I give a stronger sense of love to the new series. I also like it better because Spyro looks a lot more cuter. BTW in my book you're wrong RenanSpyro, in the TLOS series the music was much better than the older series. All I hear is ding ding, rat tat, etc.

I like the new games because the charaters have way more details and its fun to see short videos every now and then during the game play.

old ones cos they were the ones that got me into spyro in the first place. besides, i never was really keen on the new ones. mainly cos the story lines like completely different from the originals.

I'd say I prefer the newer ones. Combat is fun and I prefer the storyline of the Legend of Spyro trilogy.

I think the older ones had much more replay value though. I still remember starting a new game to redo all the challenges and stuff to rescue dragons and collect orbs and eggs- and redo those fun bonus rounds at the end!!

I agree with both of those, but I was watching videos of the older games, it seems like they have fun levels..
