"What was that?" Sapphire murmured, looking at the others.
Kitty looked around, trying to spot the 'thing' that just rushed past them.

It turned back, then rushed past them again, swift as the wind. Then it seemed to take off for a moment. The creature swept through the forest, covering miles by the second.

"Let's just keep moving," Sapphire said, pulling Kitty and Ty along.

The creature stopped, poked it's head into a bush, sniffed, then rushed back, swiftly knocking into Kitty from behind.

Kitty stumbled forward and then zipped around, seeing a creature.
Sapphire and Ty jumped back as soon as they saw it.

Then it was gone. A sound came from behind them. The creature was on it's hind legs and let out a fearsome growl at them.

Kitty zipped around again and took a few steps back.
"What is that thing?" Sapphire murmured.
"I've never seen it before..." Ty said.

The creature growled again, then actually spoke. "Don't get in my way!" The voice he spoke was ragged, and had an otherworldly, echo-y feel to it. "This is MY territory! Get out!"

Kitty stared the creature, curiously.
"We're just trying to get to Overlord Zenon's palace," Ty said. "We're about to get going, so we'll be out of your territory very soon."

"No...wait..." Kitty was still staring at the creature.
"Kitty!" Ty hissed. "We've got leave, otherwise this creature will tear us to shreads!"

"This will be my LAST warning." The creature hissed. It reared back, putting most of it's weight on it's hind legs, ready to spring into a killing blow. "LEAVE!"

Ty shrugged. "I don't know. Let's just hope we don't see it again."
Kitty glanced back a few times, but didn't see the creature.
