Consider that how Graphically awesome God of War looked on PS2, You can even compare it to some PS3 games. Not really much difference between ps2 and ps3, just graphics and crystal clear sound quality for PS3.

I really don't care if the graphics are a bit less fancy on PS2. As long as the game itself is good, then I will still enjoy it. I mean, Spyro 1's graphics aren't very good compared to some modern games, but I still love to play Spyro 1! smilie

The PS3 will indeed have better graphics than the PS2, but the developers have stated they're going to make them the best they can be for every console.

No, because they will be making each version to be the the est possible for the console, and not limiting to the capablities of lesser ones like the Wii and PS2.

The PS2 and PS3 are VERY different consoles, and the PS3 and X360 versions of DotD are obviously gonna be the best-looking...

If you have a PS3, get the PS3 version for sure.

Of course it's gonna be better, I can't say about the whole view and such, it's just the number of poligons used to make somthing in the game is much more in PS3 than in PS2, so they can conserve the viewing graphics just being more "squareful"

Well, I have a PS2 game called Stuntman Ignition. It's OK but compared to the PS3, the PS2 lags horrendously and the graphics are tacky. The sound is not as good and there are a few levels missing and you can't drive some cars.

Let me put it this way. You can't play PS2 games on a PS3 as youmcould play PS1 games on a PS2.

Yes you CAN play PS2 games on PS3 I tried it last year and it works like a charm. You can even make a PS1/PS2 Memory cards in the PS3.

yeah on the PS3 the flying controls are different, PS2 use the joy sticks PS3 use the entire controller i still don't know if i am going to get it 4 the PS3 or PS2 but mostly o want the PS2 version but i also want the PS3 version my parents say i have to choose 1 and i just cant choose!!
