I was at Target today with the kids and they had the PS3 Starter pack for $49... couldn't resist. The wife and I called it an early Christmas gift. I figured a wired portal make the game pay for itself in a year, just from battery savings.

Activision really needs to add online co-op though. I would love to play with my fellow Spyro fans. Even if it is just for battle mode and not campaign - or vice versa.

So, I probably need to buy another Giant or 2 and a couple new figures. Any recommendations?

I did the same and I love this game! I am however playing it very slowly so there can be a slight chance I can wait for the last characters to come out first because I must have during my gameplay and have him beat the game. That would be the best day ever for me and all the big fans which I know there are a lot of on here and so forth. Here's to hoping that he may come out soon especially before 2013 hopefully.

Buy fun characters, not cool ones. Sprocket may be a bit on the so-so appearance, but she is fun to play. Pop Fizz is one of the most original characters in the series, with his Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde theme.
