It seems like each arena is themed with an element. So I wonder if getting in a fight using the correct elements skylanders gives an advantage? The rules didnt say this, but it seems likely.


Another tip: It seems like leveling up the skylanders can cost a lot of gems and coins, so I suggest only upgrading 2 skylanders from each element. Rather than 3-6 characters with partial upgrades, go for 2 of teach element that are really tough, at least at first.

Use someone with a shower move and a heal move and you can't lose. Bouncer is a good one for both.

I've been using Prism Break and Drobot exclusively except when I need a different elemental skylander for getting through gates or opening chests.They work well together and both have powerful attacks that I've powered up quite a bit. Prism Break has a shield ability thats real nice too.

I've been trying to use everyone cause I love seeing each guys attacks. Tho I usually end up only changing thru the element of the day and keeping bouncer. HoT and AoE just makes everything easier.

I have started trying to switch characters each day until I get them fully upgraded. I can fully upgrade a couple skylanders after several levels. Once they're fully upgraded, I'll play with someone else.

Soon, I'll run out of levels though, before I run out of skylanders to upgrade.

More will come. Plus you can run thru later levels again to get more gems and coins lol

I have been using Tree Rex and Bouncer both fully leveled. With Bouncers AOE and Tree Rex's heal they cant lose at all. Almost seem overpowered lol. But Drobot and Prism Break are a very good team. Also Flashwing and Cynder.

Tree Rex + Drobot (don't have Bouncer and buying skylanders for gems doesn't exactly sound like what was meant out of the game. I'm honestly just using my collection) just destroys everything for me, between Tree Rex's heal and Drobot's lasers and shower.

I use Royal Double Trouble with heal and poison and Lightning Rod with Shower and Barrage. It's almost unfair to the enemies as those two just mow through everyone.
