Bazinga Blue Sparx Gems: 884	#3 Posted: 03:33:09 20/11/2012 I think you just have to put them on the portal. Note: The S1 Figures do not do the same thing as they did in S:SA. They will not unlock the heroic challenges or give you an xp boost from having more of a certain element. I could be wrong in my statement however. --- figuretrading.com

riverhippo Yellow Sparx Gems: 1049	#5 Posted: 03:45:06 20/11/2012 Change ownership. Changing ownership gives identity to a skylander for which save file they belong to. Don't worry about the integrity of the character itself, they will have the same stats, same heroics, same levels, same gold, and even same hat. However, it WILL change your nickname, which is really just a minor cosmetic inconvenience.

I think even if you have 2 of the same exact character, it will show in your giants collection that you have two of them. In S:SA, it only had slots for when you collected a character, instead of displaying how many you have.
