Quite honestly, if you don't have gitd Cynder, consider getting the 3ds pack at walmart on black thursday. It's $38 and you get those 2, and you'll probably be able to sell the game and Tree Rex by together for something like $30-$40. (making it cheaper for someone who just wanted the portal owners pack)

That is a good idea, I'll have to look into that.

I'd honestly consider what Spyroflame suggested. I'm pretty sure they won't be putting him out outside the 3DS pack. And if they do it may be like Dark Spyro all over again, which would be just as pricey if not more.

I never knew dark spyro was out in single packs until I stumbled across it when I was looking for things on here. I ended up paying about 15 bucks for it on ebay, which considered was not all that bad for it.

Target is selling the starter packs for $49 until Wednesday. Decided to go that route instead of dealing with a Walmart on Thursday or Friday.

I just swapped out Punch with a custom green Pop Fizz, and will be giving the pack to my niece for Christmas.

I'll have to take a look at that. My wife is going out there to see about snagging me a GITD Sonic Boom. I will run it by her and see what she says.

Wow thats pretty cheap. I paid about 35 for my single pack D-Spyro so you made out pretty good LOL.
Good luck with your search for Punch fizz. He's pretty awesome (Colour wise, I tend to like him more than the regular Pop Fizz).

Yeah, I hope she is okay with it. I mean if she can get one for 40 bucks and put it back on ebay for that amount or near that amount, everyone makes out a winner.

The $49 starter packs are normal priced on the website, I'm going to call my closest location tomorrow. Is the Wii U starter pack also $49!? They have the lightcore exclusive triple pack at almost all Target stores now which is kinda neat.

The website didn't have the pricing updated, but it should definitely be valid in store. It's listed in their weekly ad. No idea if it also applies to the WiiU version, since my Target didn't have any copies of that.

I saw a WiiU at Wal-Mart tonight, interestingly the WiiU Giants starter pack didn't come with a GITD Cynder. I thought that was a bit weird.

For heaven's sakes, I wish people would quit assuming all of the starter packs will be on sale for $38 on Black Friday-ish. The ad only has a pic of the Wii version and does not state other versions would be on sale. These ads are almost always very, very specific on what will be on sale.

That doesn't mean they won't be, but it's not a given.

The Wii is a dying console and retailers probably want to move the product so they aren't stuck with it in 6 months.

It is listed as "Skylanders: Giants Starter Pack". Doesn't mention Wii anywhere, so its not very specific. They had to have a picture and just because they chose a picture of the Wii version doesn't mean that's the only one on sale.
