I... Actually like how Royal Double Trouble's toy is in his Series 1 pose.
The Series 2 just looks silly in comparison to me after seeing in hand pictures of it...

I think it would have been neat to actually be in the S2 pose, but the only thing about that I don't like is the staff. Mini Trub is adorable though and it'd have been neat to see if they painted him differently as well. Speaking of which, I wonder if they mini Trubs will share the royal coloration?

In truth, I also agree with you. S1 Double Trouble was one of the better character poses anyway, and frankly, I'm tired of seeing every paint/game variant in exactly the same pose as its regular counterpart. As long as he counts as a Series 2 figure (which he will), it only adds diversity to a collection that he holds a different pose. I would have preferred a new mold entirely, but will take what I can get.
