Skyhards sounds so cool, but reminds me too much of Twihards. I don't want to be reminded of Twihards.

I actually, personally, don't like Skyros, just because I never really ever viewed Skylanders as a Spyro game at all, just an unrelated game with Spyro in it.
I view alot of the Spyro franchise like that really, grouping them as "Classic Playstation" Spyros, "post-insomniac period" Spyros, Legend of Spyros, and Skylanders.

I actually quite like Portal Masters, though it isn't one that has an obvious meaning to outsiders. (That might be a good thing?)

But is it really better than the already accepted Portal Masters both in game and in official material? It's already seeing wide spread use in fanpages anyway. I see it used on the Skylanders FB page all the time.

If that's the only reason then it'll never take off. It's too insulting and meanspirited. Plus it's under the assumption that all classic Spyro fans hate the new Skylanders Spyro, which is clearly wrong.

I use Skyros, but the canon is definetly Portal Masters...
And D-Rex, the rest of the site and some places outside have used the Skyro term for a long time.

No. It was "official" before ****landers came out. It's name only known around S&S and No.
