How is the ship cursed? [CLOSED]

Let's see, it might be a bringer of bad luck:

It got struck by lightning, gets attacked by an Arkeyan Copter and later a ghost pirate fleet, it keeps breaking apart in some places..

It just seems to have a lot of bad luck. I thought the ship being cursed would play a big part near the end of the game, but apparently not smilie

Hmm... Yeah, never really considered that. I was kind of just thinking cured = haunted/possessed ETC, not unlucky.

The pirate dudes in Lv 4 cursed it cause Flynn didn't give him his gold. The ship is still until you ask Flynn to go somewhere. A horrible curse *sniff* I feel so bad for Flynn.

I hope that they explain this more in the next game. It didn't have a MASSIVE buildup, but I still wanted a bit more on the subject. The 3DS version would probably be quite a while later and that still doesn't explain it even though Dread-Yacht is still the hub world, so.

I think its cursed because Flynn is driving it. He did hit the balloon in the other game.

In the 3DS Version of Giants, Flynn says that "They say my ship is cursed. My ship's too cool to be cursed!"

I told bobby kotick to make it cursed, and he said it was an amazing idea, and gave me 400 billion dollars and i got to design the new skylanders characters coming out in the new game on june 25 2013.

They never did explained how exactly the ship is cursed. But after the casualities the ship took during the story of the game, it's most likely cursed with bad luck.

The Ghost Pirates didn't even hold a conversation and just attacked the Dread-Yacht out of nowhere.

But according to the Toys for Bob Questions and Answers in the Giants strategy guide, the Ghost Pirates attacked because Flynn borrowed 5 gold pieces and never gave them back, and the Pirates attacked the Dread-Yacht out of revenge.

I also noticed that the Ghost Pirate ship is named Dreadnaught.

Maybe the Dread Yacht is stolen or something. Or maybe they wanted to make it cursed, decided not to, and kept in those scenes.

No. Skylanders '3' is going to be called 'Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure 2' with very little emphasis on the title 'Skylanders' and more so on 'Spyro's Adventure'.
