I have a 2 part question to ask you guys;

1.) I understand that Walmart is having a Black Friday sale where Skylanders Giants is $40. I would love to jump on this deal because I would like to get the GITD Cynder that comes with the Walmart set. I'd like to know if I can buy it on their website? There's no Walmarts by me and it would be nice if this sale can be accepted on their website.

2.) When is the Wii U version coming out and will that starter set have the GITD Cynder at Walmart? If it doesn't come with the GITDC and/or it doesn't come in time for the BF sale, I'll go with another version.

1) I'm not 100% positive, but I have to say it'll probably be in store only. They have a separate mini site for Cyber Monday (the day online retailers usually have the sales) which doesn't have any of the Skylanders stuff from what I'm seeing.

2) Wii U version is out this Sunday, the 18th along with the console. This one is hard to say. On their site, the image has regular Cynder but that looks like the standard Stock Image. I'd imagine probably not though- Walmart does carry the regular versions of all the console games without gitd cynder so this one is probably not at all. (Although, that would be cool)
It should be included in the BF sale, but because it's such a new item, that might be up to Walmart to decide.

Thanks for the response. I kind of figured that the Wii U version wouldn't have the GITD Cynder. However I'm a bit disappointed I can't take advantage of the $40 Giants sale online. I'm really not looking forward to braving through rabid Walmart crowds for this. I also hope the Best Buy BF sale where all series 1 figures are $3 isn't just store exclusive as well

Go put it on layaway. It costs $5 to start it, and they give you a $5 gift card when you close it. You just need to close the layaway during the days/hours of the sale....from what I read on a shopping blog.

Thinking about doing that for the Xbox bundle. Don't want to spend all of my money when wave 3 might be coming out.

Is this confirmed? I would also want to do this for the Walmart 3DS Starter : )
