It dosn't really look like blood, and I wach shows that has got blood in it anyway so I don't really care. But it could be blood. Now I have a feeling it would be teen rated because of blood. But I would play it anyway! But it is really suprising to find blood in a Spyro game. But it could not be blood.

You know, when people say the word "blood" for some reason it makes me feel strangly weird. Don't know why. smilie

And in the pics above Spyro looks weird. WHAT HAPPEND TO ARE CUTE LITTLE DRAGON FROM INSOMSTIC!!!???? smilie

Could be blood but not like the stuff in humans. It could be that the enemies bleed a dark matter of some kind like the stuff the Dark Jems created in AHT. It kinda looks like that.

Or it could be water that dripped from the ceiling and collected in several puddles. I've seen them in other areas of that 'level', I believe, so the red sheen could just be the general lighting of the cave.
Don't get too excited, this is Spyro the magical purple dragon we're talking about. smilie They wouldn't put pools of blood in a game that has preteens as much of its following.

it doesn't look like blood. if there is blood in this game i wouldn't really care. it would make it cool! cause ive played halo 3 shadow the hedgehog and jak 3 and they curse bad. well, not really in halo, (i think) it would be gross but it would still be awesome and fun!

I don't really care even if it is blood! I whach shows that has got a lot of blood in it! M 15 + I whach. But it dosn't look like blood though because one of the shows the blood is bright red wile the other one is dark red. I am just shoked because if it is really blood then Spyro games show has change!!!!!!!

Judging by other comments/descriptions about the game, there is a chance it could be blood. Maybe it's just part of the ground, though. If it was splurting from enemies, it would probably look a little less detailed, if you know what I mean.

Still, I don't mind blood. It would be cool to see it, but it would totally change the purple protagonist's image (when you think of the older games, Spyro looks more like a cartoon).

I guess if Sierra wants Spyro the dragon to look like an adult rather than a kid, they could go ahead and add more violence.

^Yep, I think they would loose a lot of gamers if there was blood; a lot of parents might have some objections to such violence.

It could just be ultimately improved graphics of when the enemys sorta blow up and then the gems appear.
