Alright, so for the longest time, my Chop Chop was on the Vampiric Warrior Path (the sword one), until I decided to try out the Undead Defender Path (the shield one). One of the upgrades is that the shield instantly released absorbed damage as a huge, purple laser. I've done this occasionally but accidentally, while I was messing around with Chop Chop. However, when I want it to work, I can never get it. Can someone who actually knows how to use Chop Chop effectively please tell me exactly how to get this shied laser attack working? It's very powerful if you know how to use it...

It builds up with usage. You need to block a few attacks with it before it's usable. The shield's detailing will become more and more red and when used one more time will shoot a red lazer.

yeah, take enough damage that baby goes off for a nice solid 75 for anything in front of you.
