We all get to pick a new ornament for the tree every Christmas, and so this year my son (10yrs old, turns 11 on Dec 16th) insisted on a Skylanders ornament. So, I kept scouring the 'net, and could not really find anything other than places printing a custom image/message on a blank ornament. So, I picked up an extra Slam Bam from Wal-mart, some $1.00 Xmas light earrings, used an extra dog tag necklace that was hanging around (to hang him with), and sewed a little cap together from some red felt, with cotton glued to it. Finished it off with some small jingle bells in his top right hand, the other three are struggling with the string of lights. Most of this was done with a hot glue gun, little dabs here and there.

Whatcha think? They should make something like this, they'd probably do a better job, and people would go nuts over them.

He (my son) was pretty stoked tonight, after our exhaustive search around the area and online for any sort of decent Skylanders ornaments. This took an hour to do, and totally worth it for the look I got to see on his face......

That seems like a cool idea. I should probably make a How-to video this Holiday season. =D

I agree they should have some. Maybe they'll be out after thanksgiving like I wish every Xmas thing was. *silent Xmas stuff out too early rage* no offense. I'd bet tru has some and I wouldn't be surprised is hallmark did a super legit one maybe next year.
