For the bundles. Which is worth more?

The Gnarly Tree Rex or Green Gill Grunt?

I may have to chance to snab one.

Gnarly is a true variant (looks different than the normal Rex in game) where Gil is just a variant "in our world". If you're just going on figures I'd say gnarly but I'm a true variant nerd.

Well my dad wants a game system, so I was wondering what was best. Thinking Wii at this point.

Please remember that the XBox bundle includes the older game but the Wii bundle includes the newer Giants game - in case that affects the decision.

I would say the Wii bundle, as chaos pointed out, you have to remember that one comes with Giants whereas the 360 bundle just has the original S:SA game... also I think Gnarly is a better variant personally, because he is skinned differently in the game, versus just the figurine looking different... I bought the Gnarly bundle and am not sorry!! His in-game skin is a lot better than the original imo, so I think it was a great buy for what it's worth!! smilie

Gnarly is an actual variant, whereas g Gill is identical in-game to the Gill we already all have.

If you think for one second that the Wii U won't completely sell out, you are either totally naive or certifiably insane. If you don't have a system per-ordered, you probably won't be able to find one until mid-2013 at the earliest. You could get one on eBay, but expect a 50-150 percent markup on the price.

I, and I'm being totally serious here, laughed out loud when I read your post. Wii U not completely sold out? What, I'm wondering, makes it different than EVERY OTHER HOME CONSOLE RELEASED IN AMERICA, going all the way back to the ColecoVision days?!

Maybe you are new to the gaming world, and that's fine; we gamers are thrilled to have you along for the ride. But without a pre-order, you are having either a Wii U- free holiday OR you'll get one for between $600-$800 on eBay or Craigslist.
