Is anyone else experiencing this glitch? [CLOSED]

I am not certain if there is another post about this, so I'm sorry if there is. But anyways, this has happened several times now. Every now and then the game will just freeze, and can't restart my wii or go back to the home screen, so I'm forced to unplug it entirely. I've noticed that it only seems to occur shortly after introducing a new Skylander I just purchased. Let me know what I can do.

I had this happen with S:SA on my ps3. When I would put certain figures on the portal the game would freeze. It would be acting like it was loading and then just freeze. I ended up sending my disc in and getting a replacement.

This happens with several games, with the Lego series plagued terribly by it..

Sounds like your laser might be playing up in your console, in which case you'll need to wii-place it (bad joke, but made me giggle smilie)

This happened only once in SSA for like an entire day where I couldn't switch to anyone but Stump Smash! I'd want to switch to Dino Rang or Warnado and no! It froze! Yet if I took that figure off and put Stump Smash it was totally fine!


I have a glitch where after my Xbox turns off the portal stays on! With Tree Rex's eye's lighting up! Then his lights turn off and a couple seconds later, the portal turns off. Like 2 to 3 minutes after the Xbox turns off!

The portal always stay's on for a few minutes. It's not a glitch.

Oh ok, Just thought It was since he did like always happen. But I'm still supposing the Stump Smash thing was a glitch correct? Unless SSA only lets you use one skylander of yours for one specific day....

Sorry, I can't help you there. Have you tried making a new file? I hope you can figure out how to fix it. Let me know how it goes.

Worst case scenario, you can email activision or something.

Shoot I had a portal on for a couple hours with prism break glowing brightly still. It might have something to do with the fans sometimes running afterward

Glad heroic challenges are gone. Imagine doing 165 per skylander. That's 27225 challenges. No thank you.

The wireless Portal will turn itself off after a few minutes, but I think the wired one will until it's unplugged.
