It looks more like he's trying to put a freeze on the auction for now for some reason: if you notice the ones that did sell were about $13-14 quid.

The ones that sold previously sold for 12.99-13.99 so perhaps like someone stated before this seller is possibly trying to stop selling without actually taking down the auction.
Possible...either that or they are incredibly stupid.

I'm guessing it might have to do with limitations on how many free BIN auctions you can list each month, and the fact it'll still charge 50 cents each time you relist. Best reason to amp up the price to keep it going.

However if you want to see some more down-to-earth price gouging, take a look here
