A letter to and from Nintendo [CLOSED]

Hi everyone, I had an idea about the 3DS version of Skylanders Giants for e-shop and this is what I sent them:

I just purchased the Skylanders Giants for the Wii system. I also have the 3DS version of the 1st Skylanders game; which has its own portal. My question is if it's possible to purchase the 3DS version of Skylanders Giants without getting the Skylander figures and another portal, that come in its starter kit. I already have Tree Rex that came with the console version and I also have the 3DS portal that came in the first game. I just want the game software only, via retail or downloadable through the Nintendo e-shop. If not available now will it be available sometime soon?


And the day after that, I got a response from Nintendo. This is what they sent me:

They should make a downloadable version for all the platforms, i would love to download just the game to the Wii or to the PS3.

This would be something that they could definitely do, especially with Nintendo pushing the whole eshop download thing over retail. (even offering some of the already released games from download)

I think it would ultimately end up going to Activision though, who probably would say no. After all, they get to sell you the game AND a figure, not to mention the mulitples people would end up with for buying the game on multiple consoles.

It'd be really great if they did, but I just don't see it happening unfortunately.
