So ive bought Spyro 1-3 on Playstation Network recently. This is something i dont understand.

The digital versions are running SO slow, they have music and framerate issues and many glitches.
So ok right? Well... The DISKS when you run them on the system fully work without ANY sound or speed issues at all. Makes no sense to me.

The only PS1 game I bought was Crash 3.
It went fine for me, so I don't think that's a general problem with every PS1 game in their store.
There's option on changing the gameplay. There in the setting at your Playstation Menu or can be found by taping the Home button while playing.

It's probably an issue with your PS3 hardware/firmware. They run fine for me. >.>

I haven't played them for months (I got them when I had PSN Plus, so they're locked now), but I don't recall that many issues.

You got PSN Plus?
Do you regret it?

Ive had plus before, and yes, i regret it. $20 to use it temporary, but then lose ALL games you downloaded with plus? Not rightly fair, because in the end we wasted $20.

Probably a problem with your console(s). Maybe not enough memory?

All the consoles are the same, EXCEPT the fat console has less memory then the slim console, but ive got the slim so it should not effect me.

Graphics, versions, anything. Googling this should help.

The issue is, im pretty sure a game that runs 100% perfect on a 3MB ram PSone, should work great on a 200MB Ram PS3.

That's good old Sony making they're consoles complicated for you. smilie
I sometimes wonder if they was better at sticking with simple game machines.

I sometimes wonder if they was better at sticking with simple game machines.

Their first console used CD technology. Not exactly simple to do at the time (just ask Sega, Atari, and especially Nintendo). Their second console was the first and most successful to use DVD technology. The PS3 is currently the only one that uses Blu-Ray technology. So I'd say they've never done anything simple. >.>

Okay, maybe I wasn't very clear, but I meant it as in terms of using the Internet. And, also, the Sony PlayStation 2 seems to easily play Sony PlayStation games, yet with the PS3, it seems to have trouble doing this, a brand new piece of technology that can't handle it's predecessor of games, a bit stupid right? Luckily, my PS3 seems to have no problem playing PS and PS2 titles, apparently the original 60GB of PS3 can do this, and the others either just can't, or can only play certain PS or PS2 titles.

I also have the original disc of Spyro: The Dragon. It runs smooth for me.
