And it's right in front of that prisoner that's chained up. Could it possibly be that whoever that is, is no longer alive and was tortured to death?

I think it's just dust or rocks. It's not likely that blood would be included in a Spyro game. The makers probably wouldn't allow it.

Well if there is going to be blood, I really hope not to much. I get squimish (sp?) over stuff like that easily.

it could just be a red nosed monkey/ape and wat was shadow the hedgehogs problem i thought it was a good game

Yea it was fun, but did they have to use cus words... and the green blood was a big twist for a sonic related game.

If there is blood it will probably be Animated Blood. And in that case it would probably keep the E10+ rating.

All the recent Ratchet & Clank Games have animated blood and are E10+ (the PSP game Daxter, too)

But anyway, I hope DotD is rated T for being more violent. I don't care about blood.

It looks like blood.In some of those screenshots,it looks like there's blood on the floor,but it could be something else.

I really can't imagine how the lava could gotten there, it could hav fallen from above.

Possible, but from there it was an intrence and that hunter-like figure was coming in that way. so i suppose cynder and spyro came out from there. should have spyro get hurt... wait so that could B the blood. it could B spyro's blood mixed with lava.

Huh? Well it definitly is not rocks. I mean it is liquid. And it looks to thin to be lava so my best estimate would be BLOOD

But maybe hardened lava? It could very well be even dirt or mud. There are tons of possibilities so it is really to soon to tell what it is.

I can't imagine blood in any Spyro game unless it's animated. As for the rating, it all depends on how much the gameplay has evolved. Even if it is rated T, kids will still play it. That was pretty much the case for The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess.

I'd love the game to be T. I just think it'd be nice to see Spyro evolve a bit more.

It's in a cave, so the water's color is red because of the cave walls are red. Color reflection on the water puddles. It could be it.

i hope its not rated "T" coz i woulden't be able to play it.(still would) its better to stick with old fans then get new ones who might abandon spyro, get what i mean?

I know what you mean, but there are many Spyro fans who are 13+ and would like to see a more mature Spyro game. If all the Spyro fans were less than 13, then I would agree with you.

Spyro wasn't born to be a mature game, IMO. I mean, the cheesy kind of mature (YOU'RE THE CHOSEN ONE AND HERE ARE SOME APES AND UNDEAD TO KILL AND I GUESS YOU CAN HAVE THESE ELEMENTAL POOOOOWERS TOO) seen in the first two TloS games is OK, I guess, but if the developers start getting all "LOL GRIMANDARK" on this one, I don't think I will even buy it. Don't get me wrong, it's not like I'm underage or anything, but the thought of a Spyro game with blood and violence is too much for someone who's followed the series since its very beginning.

I noticed that in that picture too.

I HIGHLY doubt that's blood. It's a cave, after all, so they're probably just puddles of water that dripped down from the ceiling - and red because of the lighting. Sierra wants Spyro to reach all audiences, and you can't do that when there's blood.
At most, I imagine they could get a cut or scrape in a cutscene or two - but big pools of blood?? No.
