Hi everyone. This is not my first post. If you remember Angel Wing from before, its me but sadly my sister deleted my account. But I am back. Anyway, I have a question.

What are the pros and cons of these skylanders' upgrade paths?

Chill smilie
Shroomboom smilie
Flashwing smilie
Fright Rider smilie
Pop Fizz smilie

I own them and I wil probably get the game tomorrow or next week, we'll see how it goes. Also I have about 15$ and I want to know if I should get Jet Vac (Light Core) or Sprocket? I like Jet Vac's look but Sprocket looks neat. Thanks to whoever can answer this.

I have both Sprocket and Light Core Jet Vac. I have not played Sprocket that much yet. (Work kind of messes these things up.) Jet Vac is fun with his gun and being able to suck things up. However I have a feeling just from playing around with Sprocket a bit that she will be a bit more fun to level up.

Flashwing--

You really can't go wrong with either path. I went with the Shimmering Spin, since the spin gives her an extra speed boost, and has lasers that make up for the close-range attacking. Plus, with this path she ends up with an 80+ Armor boost. With the spin, if you hit an enemy around four times, that's around 56 damage per, and her shards give around the same damage per shard (13-14.)

As for the shard path, I have only heard good things as well. The crystals bouncing off everything and healing Flashwing amounts to little damage to herself and lots of damage to the enemies. My only problem is the crystals do not get a boost in power, they stay the same after you upgrade their power once initially.

Either path she is very hard to damage and deals a lot of hurt to the enemies, so honestly it's personal preference.

Pop Fizz--

Again I think it's all personal preference here, but the Beast path is more strategy-based since you have to figure out which potion to drink best suits his situation, since they all do different things when he drinks them. I don't think the Beast path upgrades his damage very much, the Beast is strong enough without the path, but again, preference.

I went with the Alchemist path (mostly because I am a Chemistry minor) and I love it. The yellow potion deals about 26 damage per toss and he can throw them pretty quickly. Plus, with the Mixologist upgrade, throwing green and then yellow creates this huge fiery explosion, which does a lot of damage. The only con is the Beast mode doesn't last very long if you're in a situation that needs more melee.

Fright Rider--

I went with the Lance-a-Lot path because I felt like the Jousting one was like trying to steer a bus. I've honestly heard good things about both, but I can't say much since I don't have Fright Rider fully upgraded yet.

As for Chill, I had a hard time using the ice blocks as projectiles rather than a safety wall which is why I went with her other path. Does anyone have anything to say about the ice block path? 'Cause I don't. |D

Well I have played with Shroomboom and he is amazing down the barrier boost path. His back to the beggining attack is great cause his invincleble but not for long. His other path is very hard to use because of his paratroopers which I say are kind of useless.

^ I love the Paramushroom Promotion, because he can run away while attacking, much like Double Trouble, and he has faster Boomshrooms, and on the Barrier Boost path, I do not think he can attack while underground, and therefore would recommend Paramushroom Promotion.
