Has anyone had problems with sharp edges on figures? [CLOSED]

I gave my kids the 3ds version and all the figures looked pristine through the window, but the Punch Pop Fizz has a piece of sharp plastic sticking out of the side of the base, which of course I wouldn't have known without opening it completely. Anyone else have this problem? Am I just being OCD? If it were another figure, I'd just purchase another one, but another $75 I'm not doing.

Why not simply take the pack back and swap it?
