I'm starting to notice that some Skylanders (series 2), mainly the ones I want, don't show up on any of the stores I've searched as being sold there. Now, being new to the series myself, I've started to wonder what the deal was.

The thing is, I'm looking for a few specific Skylanders (series 2):
Spyro
Cynder (Who I swear to Eon, if she is only available as part of the portal pack I'm going to flip)
Camo
and Sunburn

So am I right to assume that the Skylanders are shipped at different intervals, meaning I won't see a Camo until another week or two? Or are they available at specific stores I just didn't happen to think of?

Cynder is out in the starter packs. Spyro later, and Camo and Sunburn won't be in Giants...just their originals from the 1st game will work, but no reposes in Giants. (right???) Pretty sure...lot of info to absorb in here.

I'm familiar with the concept, just never actually seen it in practice. Most of the stuff I've bought were only one time things like video games.
So I take it the Skylanders are released in 'waves' and the only thing I can do about it is wait?

Pretty much. If you go the the Giants forum there is a page that will give you hours of reading to explain everything in regards to Giants. There should be a wave list there too.

I'll need a link to that wave list. My search-fu is sad.

I could've sworn I saw Cynder in a single pack today at TRU? Can anyone confirm?

You may have seen SSA Cynder, but no one has reported seeing SG Cynder single.

Camo and Sunburn have no S2 repose

And Green Puff's avatar just seems to match his response. Well there is always Gamestop and such if that REALLY is the case (A questionable thing to do personally, but Flashwing looks like a boss so i'm cool with it).

Anyway, I could still use that wave list if it exists, or at least a good estimate to how long waves take to release.

Camo and Sunburn have no reposes, but Camo is still very find-able, I saw him in the Camo/Warnado/Ignitor triple pack in the back of the Skylanders display at Wal-Mart all lonely and unwanted.

Sunburn might be a little tougher if you're looking in stores. The Dragon's Peak Adventure Pack is, however, available online from Wal-Mart for $17.96 as opposed to the usual $19.99.

As for Spyro and Cynder, you will have to wait until their S2 reposes come out (we don't know when or which wave, wave 3 will probably be November, I estimate around Black Friday) or get their S1 SSA figures.
