Is there any reason to not change the ownership of our "Spyro's Adventure" Skylander collection over to our "Giants" save?

I trust doing so will get us all the benefits of a newly added Skylander, like class boosts? I think I read that you won't get the Heroic Challenge for some of them?

You won't get a heroic challenge, but it will count as a Skylander in your collection, and it will increase the elemental power.

Heroic challenges for the series 1 figures must be "bought" in-game.

Think of changing ownership as cloning your character collection. Nothing bad happens from changing ownership. Well except wiping nicknames.
