Have they learned from their horrible mistake last year?

Awesome. I look forward to actually going to the store and being able to pick out who I actually came to get.

1 week of the game being out & TRU had everything still in stock except Wave 2. That is pretty impressive. I really thought it would be way worse as SSA took a bit of time to get popular, but thought everyone would be hitting the shelves for the launch of Skylanders Giants. Honestly I think the sales have been through the roof, they were just prepared for it with a multitude of stock.

Product is deffinately on the shelf. Is it who you wanted probably not. Still better than last year when nothing was on the shelf.

At the same time, though, the game's been out for a week. The only competition anyone has at this point is the die-hard players. Sales won't REALLY start to pick up until Black Friday. Right now, parents are telling their kids "maybe you'll get this for the holidays."

Most of the copies of the game are currently unpurchased (or unopened, waiting for a suitable gift-giving time). Looking at the numbers from trophy/achievement sites, about 100 times as many people have completed the first level in Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure compared to Skylanders Giants.

Buy early, before the rest of the world joins in on the hunt. The later-wave new Skylanders and Giants may be as bad as Wham-Shell is/was to track down. (I still don't understand why they didn't make him return in Giants. Heck, they should have put him in the starter pack to spite the scalpers stockpiling him!)

YESYESYESYESYES at Gamestop they had hundreds behind the counter on shelfs! And When I came out the store I saw someone with one! Poor me
