Hello, Man-Journal.

I have some sad news. My dad said that my mom has been diagnosed with brain cancer, and he said that she's had it for more than five years. I'm very upset. I mean, I'm only 11 years old! I just bought you at Target a few minutes ago, and this sad story is my very first entry. I guess I'll talk about myself. My name is Alec Nikli. My dad's name is Carlton Ilac. My mom's name is Helena Nikli. I've always used my mom's surname because it sounds cool. My mom also works with this business. She never tells me what it is. I'm probably going to go see her in the hospital soon.

Here's the good news. Skylanders: Giants is coming out tomorrow! I'm going to get so many toys!!!! I've got to go to bed and get ready for the big day!

Hey, MJ! I'm back!

I just got Skylanders: Giants and I'm so excited!!! I got so many new figures, too! I won't be able to play it today, though. Because of my mom's disease, my dad has to stay at the hospital and I have to stay at my grandma's house. Her name is Catherine. Her husband, Rutherford, died a few years ago. She is very nice and bakes me awesome cookies, so I guess that's it for tonight!

We meet again, MJ.

I have never been so sad in my life. I went to the hospital to see my mom. The doctors said she was doing great, but she looked terrible. I decided to get an answer for the question I've been asking my whole life. She was about to say it, but I think there was something wrong with her throat, because she started choking. I freaked out, and told the nurse. But, we couldn't save her. I've never cried so hard.

The funeral is in two days. I'll play Skylanders tomorrow.

Well, that's it for now.

MJ! I'm back!

I started playing Skylanders today. It was awesome!!!! Yeah. I'm still sad about my mom dying. But, I'm playing Skylanders to relieve stress. I never played the first game, but I really like it! That Flynn guy is so funny, and that weird Auric dude is showing up everywhere! My best friend told me about this website that has walkthrough if I ever get stuck, but I don't need them. I got to Chapter 6 and finished it. But, my dad didn't let me play anymore. He said that I need to prepare for the funeral tomorrow.

I'm going to bed now.

Well, Man-Journal, I can't play Skylanders today. The funeral was rescheduled, so it was today instead of tomorrow. There were only two speakers. First, some guy named Bobby went up and spoke about my mom. I didn't really care about what he was saying. Then, my dad came up. He rambled on about how my mom's father, my dead Papa Rutherford, was a famous child actor and everything. He said that's one of the many reasons they got married. That was the only part of the speech that I was interested in, because I never actually knew that. You remember Catherine, my grandma? She was at the funeral, too. She's usually to sick to show up at events, but this time, she came. All of a sudden, I heard gunshots! My dad fell to the ground. My grandma fell to the ground. Now, I'm an orphan. I'm at the police station right now. I've got to go to sleep.

Today I woke up to see something on the news saying that all of the Skylanders games were being recalled because of some glitch on Chapter 7. I was just about to play that level! Anyway, the police sent me back home. I decided to watch my grandpa's first ever movie. I stayed up very late. That was really all that I did. I'm going to play Skylanders tomorrow so I can see the glitch!

I played Skylanders today, but I didn't notice anything glitchy. The chapter was called Wilikin Village. It was really creepy. There were a bunch of houses. The first one I entered was "Rutherford's Game Room." I got to play Skystones with this Rutherford character, and he sounded like a boy I've met before. It sounded very familiar. I decided to not continue the chapter and go to bed. That night, I heard a strange noise. I looked out my window, and I saw a strange looking object. It was wooden. I thought I heard a very faint voice come from outside. It sounded like the word "friend". I concluded that I was imagining things, and now I'm going to go to sleep.

Today, I went to my friend's house. I knew he had Skylanders. Everybody does. So, I asked about the glitch. He said that some of the Wilikin didn't talk when you went up to them. So, I went back to my house. I restarted Chapter 7. The whole level was cool. But, some of the names of the Wilikin sounded familiar. Very familiar. When I came up here to write, I looked out my window, and in the dark, I could see the outlines of about three or four objects. They were just laying out there. Maybe it's just debris from a nearby storm.

I'm going to bed.

Is this some kind of HORROR STORY?

I've been thinking about all of the deaths in my family, and I realized something. The names of some of the Wlikin are the exact same names as my dead family members! The little boy in the "Rutherford's Game Room" had a familiar voice because it's the voice of my grandpa as a child actor! The wooden objects outside my window! The word "friend" being repeated! It all makes sense! Something weird is happening. I'm going to bed. I don't want to think about it anymore.

I'm officially creeped out. I was walking in the neighborhood, and saw a wooden object hopping up and down. A little bit later, I saw another wooden object hopping up and down. I don't know what the heck is happening, but I know I should see a psychiatrist.

Look, I don't know what is going on! All I can see around me everyday are wooden objects. When I go to my local store to get stuff like clothes, I see wooden objects lying on the shelf. I don't know what is happening, but I'm freaking out! The names of the Wilikin were the names of my family, so tomorrow I'm going to search the house for whatever clues I might find.

I'm going to search for clues right now. Even though i usually write in here at bedtime, I want to cover this hunt live. Tonight is Halloween, the worst night of the year. I'm going to have to search quickly before the trick-or-treaters come. My first stop: The attic. I'm currently looking for stuff, and I just found a photo album, some of my toys, and a piece of paper. Oh, no. The first trick-or-treater. I'm going to have to look at these findings tomorrow.
