So I was playing Giants the other day with my Chop Chop and when I picked up my Drobot I had this humorous semi-revelation. This may be because I am a long time Marvel fan but I made an Avengers lineup with my Skylanders ! Their abilities (particularly upgrade paths) have uncanny similarity to an Avenger counterpart!

Captain America: Chop Chop (Undead Defender) Self explanatory using a shield as a weapon, honorable soldier and around since the ancient Arkeyans, one could make an argument he was the First Skylander (Eh? Eh? Get what I just did there? Hahaha)
Iron Man: Drobot (Master Blaster) Smartest of the dragons...built his own armor...flying around with boosters firing off lasers...yeah. Hahaha.
Hulk: Pop Fizz (Best of the Beast) Reckless experiments that turn him into this rage monster? Yeah I had a good laugh on this one.
Thor: Crusher (the path that focuses on the hammer ) This was the tricky one since I thought I would use a Giant for Hulk but it makes more sense in that the Giants are a wee-bit more god-like in comparison to normal Skylanders. Plus the hammer, you gotta love the hammer, especially when he just hurls it across the field!

Black Widow: Stealth Elf
Hawkeye: Flameslinger

Again this is just my entertaining little thought that I wondered if anyone else thought the same so I know I'm not just being a comic nut . Plus I am writing this at 5 in the morning so I might be making sense of nothing at all hahaha. What do you guys think? Or perhaps you guys can come up with another Skylander that fits an Avenger??

I approve of this wonderful idea.

I would say Chill is more of a Captain America, desptie the genders. Chop Chop is more of a knight-esqe figure, and Chill's helmet GREATLY resembles Captain America's.

I did that type of thing too but I couldent figure out Hulk and Thor because that was before I knew a lot about giants!

When I put Tree Rex on the portal for the first time, I was like "He's gonna say Hulk Smash next" lol.

What about Justice League paralells?

EDIT: Actually, since I don't think there are any Skylanders with an eyepatch, how about Eye Brawl? They both only have one eye

i think that wham shell is a nice thor. it's not an hammer, but his mace has an electric strike.

Mmmmm I wish I had a wham shell ...Yours does make more sense with the electricity and a mace and a hammer is tomato tomahto. Both are blunt objects meant to be swung ridiculously hard at something.

stealth is a sneaky and window is a spy get the connection and speaking of that anyone think that stealth elf is kind of like katniss from hunger games and flameslinger is like peeta melark

Jet Vac could also be Captain America. He's very patriotic, and seems like a tactician, and a leader.

You know, I've always thought that if Activision would apply the Skylanders formula to Ultimate Alliance they could do some pretty great things. Imagine having 36 heroes to choose from, we could easily get guys like Nova and Beta Ray Bill...

i had a weird idea too:
= chewbacca or somedragon for han solo. = dreath vader = luke skywalker = princess lea (what? skylander spyro and cynder look like bro and sis to me!) = yoda.... they have the same ears! thats all i have right now!
SKYLANDERS STAR WARS

Lol, I came up with the Iron Man = Drobot idea too. I actually nicknamed mine "Tony", as in Tony Stark.

Admittedly, I am more DC (or was until the New 52... Ugh, go rot Didio, you are screwing up an entire universe you freaking idiot!) than Marvel, so most of mine are named after DC characters.

Here are my DC ones:
Ghost Roaster- Deadman (because his outfit reminded me of the one Deadman had in JLU)
Sonic Boom- Raven (looks more like an actual Raven, though I almost named Hex that instead)
Trigger Happy- Mr. J ( as in the Joker)
L. Trigger Happy- Bruce ( even thought Bats doesn't go for guns, the ears reminded me of his cowl)
Wrecking Ball- Harley ( named after my dog, who is named after Harley Quinn)
Zap- Kilowatt (a little know Teen Titan)
Flameslinger - Red Arrow (Speedy graduated)
Stealth Elf- Rose (Ravager's real name. Much love for her)
