i'm a parent, i have no problem with skylanders/activision etc.

really all i want to know is, in the 3ds game, are there stats, like there were in the wii one.

for example are crusher and granite crusher equal, or does the granite one have slightly higher stats, like the legendary ones did.

same question goes for punch pop fizz , i'm probably gonna get that tree rex bundle for my son for christmas, are they just paint variants, or are they "better"

he isn't really interested in collecting them all. he just has what i would call favorite ones. heck, even i personally want the light up prism break, that's another question, does the 3ds game use the wowpop powers

anyway thank you in advance for the responses. i've been lurking to find answers to plan my xmas gifts accordingly.

From what I know, the 3DS version

Wow Pows don't work
Gameplay is easy and boring
LightCore does not work

As for the variants
No idea.

As for the bundle, you gotta try hard cuz' it's supposed to be extremely rare.

If you're getting the Wii or PS3 gnarly tree Rex bundle,sell him on evilBay (eBay)
Most of the time they're just paint variants and if there's a difference in stats it's a very minor difference

Gnarly Tree Rex is for keeps! He's really valuable, so unless you suck money, I'd keep him.

Um, WUMBO, I actually connected the portal with the game and put a giant on the portal, and it lit up.

The same way stats worked in the original. Stats are not specified, you just get some boosts to them when you level up and can still check them in Upgrades.
