The Oracle- Many Combinations ***SPOILERS!!!!!*** [CLOSED]

As anyone who has played Chapter 13 knows, there are five different tests, each with. two choices, which would make 32 available combinations in which the level could be played (2^5)

But when I replayed it with my mom, there were DIFFERENT trials than before (two entirely different ones for Trails 3 and 4) This makes me wonder, how many available combinations are there really to play the level?

It always begins with Spiders or Chompies and ends with Wealth or Knowledge for me. I the only one? Just coincidence?

Well, here's what I found out about that stage when I went in to get everything.

Whatever test you pick at Trial 2 (The Trial of Heart) determines the differences you get later. Trial 1 (The Trial of Courage) doesn't affect paths at all.

If you opted for the Big Fish trial, then Trial 3 would be the 'Trial of Elements', with Trial 4 being the 'Trial of Knowledge'. Then comes Trial 5, the 'Trial of Values', and going through the Knowledge door would give you the prize behind its door.

If you opted for the Little Fish trial, Trial 3 would become the 'Trial of Valor', and Trial 4 would become the 'Trial of Strength'. Trial 5, the 'Trial of Values', remains as it is.

If it's your first time doing Trial 5, you would get the Bowling Pin Hat. However, by doing the OTHER trial for Trial 2 and THEN going through to the end and going through the Knowledge door again, you would then end up with the level's Legendary Treasure!


And that's what makes this level similarly awesome in my book. I swear that Toys For Bob seemed to pull all the stops out of this smilie
