If it's the same quality GITD paint that's on Series 2 Cynder, it's going to suck hardcore. While the GITD portal is cool, Cynder's GITD paintjob stinks. Certain parts of her won't even glow, and it has a chalky feel to the paint job.

I agree the GITD cynder isn't that great of quality. I had to look in three different starters before I was satisfied with one. The others I looked at had some kind of damage somewhere. Mine even has an extra piece of little plastic on the side of the head.

However, I'll buy the new Sonic Boom. I like the variants. I hope it doesn't end up like the Red smilie.

Yeah, I'm not too crazy about GITD Cynder, but even if it is the same quality, I'll still pick this one up. Love S2 Sonic Boom.

GITD Fright Rider looks to have the same paint job as the variants from wave 5 of SSA. If Sonic Boom has the same quality GITD paint job as those, all will be good.

I hope you are right about the paint job on Sonic being better cause I was very disapointed in my GITD Cynder. It looks like she was purple and then they added the GITD paint on top of it at the last minute.
