Check your Amazon account if you pre-ordered this guy.

I logged in today to see if he had shipped yet (since he was supposed to ship yesterday) and there was a message waiting that I needed to "approve" a shipping delay for him - and if I didn't approve it in time (sometime in November, don't remember when), my order would just be cancelled!

So go in and see if they're asking to delay your order!

Also, there's now no estimated shipping date showing on the order. Says they'll e-mail me when they get one.

I got in on the first round of cancelled preorders. I spent half an hour on the phone w a woman from Amazon this morning. She checked and said all orders from both rounds were cancelled, they've never sold a gold Flameslinger and she didnt know if/when they'd ever get them in. I then sent an email to someone at TFB to see if I could get any clarification on the whole thing. Haven't heard anything yet.

I know TFB looks at this site. They have to know about all of this. Be nice if someone could fill us in. As for Amazon, it's BS that they cancelled the first orders and then took more. The first orders should have been filled first. Now it looks like no one will ever be getting gold Flameslinger...

It's poor management w both TFB and Amazon, if you ask me.

I just checked my order and it still shows Not Shipped with a Estimated Delivery date of Oct.25th to Oct. 29th.

Mine says:

Delivery Estimate: Monday October 29, 2012 - Thursday November 1, 2012
Not yet shipped

But nothing about needing some form of approval?

I just got an email for the approval thing. I guess we can only hope that what Kesrael heard was a mistake.

I got the approval email. Amazon sends those out when you order something and they dont have it by the projected ship date, so they send an email asking you to approve the order stay active until they get the item. Mine currently has no projected ship date, whereas yesterday it said I'd have it by tomorrow, which is why I got the approval email.

I doubt you guys have anything to worry about. It doesn't sound like they're going to cancel your orders like they did the first time around. Just accept the delay when they e-mail you about it and they'll ship it to you when they get in stock. Not authorizing the delay will more likely cause your ordered to be cancelled altogether. They did the same thing with Wham-Shell back when he first showed up for preorder on Amazon long ago.

I have talked to muktiple Amazon reps also and they seemed confident that the second wave of orders would be filled. In addition though I was told that they did not even expect to have them in wharehouse before the beginning of Nov

To back Kesrael up I was initially told right after I ordered the figure it would be cancelled and the link we all used to order it was supposed to be one time use as a test for the kindle system. I have been in regular contact with Amazon because of a major issue with another item ordered and everytime I have talked to somebody since the initial time I was told they would be honored.

Can someone post the Amazon universal number code for this item?
