I apologize if this is discussed elsewhere - if so, please just point me to it.

I've got the various Giants purchased and set aside for Christmas, and I've even tested them to make sure they light up correctly when they're on the portal. The problem is, I'm not sure what to expect - a few of them look like they should light up in places that they don't. So, here's what I see. Please let me know if this is correct, missing something, and/or what you see with your own:

Bouncer & Legendary Bouncer: Lights up in his eyes, and the various bands around his waist. Does not like up on finger tips (which I thought would, based on how they look) or anywhere else.

Crusher & Granite Crusher: Lights up in his eyes, and the three spikes on his left shoulder. Does not light up anywhere else.

Hot Head: Lights up on his head. Does NOT light up the flames in his hands (I really thought they would - are they supposed to?), or anywhere else.

Swarm: Lights up in his eyes and the spike on his right arm. Does not light up on the spike on the left hand (again, figured this would be the case - is mine bad?), or anywhere else.

Tree Rex: Lights up on his right arm, and his eyes. Does not light up anywhere else.

Please compare what I'm seeing to what you're seeing! Any help is greatly appreciated.

i don't have Hot Head yet, but all others are correct, not defective.

All are correct. I was hoping the fire on Hot Head's hands would light up, it would have been awesome

ya honestly the whole lighting up thing is lil bit disappointing...

maybe in Skylanders 3 they light up ever were when they advance their technique/skill to do it ;3


Best ones i seen so far in lighting up is "Granite Crusher" and "Prism Breaker" and Jet-Vac is kinda okay.

Lord of Skull, I agree. My favorites are the two version of Crusher. Prism Break is easily the coolest (although I do not care for the character himself) of the LCs, although I dig Jet Vac (both the character and the lightup).

Worst of show? Easily Drobot. Woof!

Yes, I am. Only the fire on his head lights up.

the fact that hot head only lights up on his head is a shame, he would be so much better if his hands lit up too. The barnacles on thumpback's arms do light up, and as for eye brawl and ninjini, i don't know, but supposedely eye brawl's eye and ninjini's 'smoke trail' will light up.
