So I went out today to Toys R Us not expecting to see wave 2s yet but I came out of the store suprised. They ended up making their main display nothing but skylanders and it was FULL of wave 2 and 1 characters. They had all of wave 2 characters out but they only had 3 hot heads. After that I went to Target to try my luck with a Granite Crusher and I ended up nabbing the last one!

Glad I had the day off! Heres a video of them that I made!

I'm not one to collect every single Skylander out there. I collect my favourites. My Spyro's Adventure collection consists of Spyro, Trigger Happy, Gill grunt, Drobot, Stump Smash, Sonic Boom, Wrecking Ball, Chop Chop, Flameslinger and Dino Rang. For Giants, I'm probably only going to get about 10. I feel it's a waste to get every single one when you probably are going to use 1/2 every level. That's my opinion.

i kinda want every one of them ;3, different colors doesnt matter too much to me but stuff like legendarily is kinda cool to get.

I'm selling my regular Crusher to a friend for the price I paid. The only ones I want are the new ones, not the re-figured ones. I didn't have Hex until now.

It's too bad only the fire on Hot Head's head lights up. It would have been awesome if the fire on his hands lit up as well.

Why is every1 getting flashwing and I can't find one?!?! I almost got one today but those stupid toysrus bastards sold it after they said they'd hold it for me are flashwings being sold anywhere else?

Yeah, the fires on his arm are semi transparant that made me thought they would glow but they don't.

I been playing Hot Head a little.

His A move (xbox360) is his flame thrower, it does about 14 dmg every second while holding down A. His X move he throws a blob of oil if it lands on the ground it leaves a trail (doesn't stay on the ground long) where you can set the trail and blob on fire. You can throw a blob of oil on an enemies for 10 dmg and it also darkens then which you can set them on fire to do 24 dmg over time on top of the 14 per second.

Haven't bought any upgrades yet so I don't know his paths, etc. His movement is pretty slow, but with his Soul Gem I'm sure that gets taken care of.

I had the same experience with TRU this morning. Although I was not able to get Hot head, I was able to get all of the S2 figures. TRU came through for me this time. I was surprised to see a line considering it was raining and it was a Monday morning. About 6-8 people showed up and I was the last one in line but I was still able to to get all that figures that I wanted. People also did not care about the reposed figures. The only ones the people wanted was Hot Head, Sprocket and Flashwing and Jet Vac.

It was a funny that some people seem to be in line but had no clue to what the line was about and why they had to fall in line for it. I did check on the TRU display and it looks like it is selling really good but is not selling out yet. The new characters are very popular as expected but the lightcore ones are not selling too well. Could be the poor choice of figures? I hate to say it buy the light core Drobot sucks and the Eruptor one was NOT the more popular character to make into a light core version. Only Prism break is really worth it.

The same for the TRU near me, no one wanted the lightcores. They had PLENTY of lightcores and everyone was passing by them. They had the big 25ft display up in the front along with the one near the electronics dept and had about 30 boxes un-opened tagged skylanders on top of the display.

Other than Pop Fizz, if they made a cool Sunburn lightcore I would have bought it but thats it.

My Target had some Wave 2 figures yesterday, I got Sprocket so far she's my favorite. Which is funny because before the game released I was all about Fright Rider.(who I also have). Is lightcore Jet-Vac out now. I want to get all of the new characters in Lightcore.

Yes, TRU had the lightcore Jet-Vac and plenty of them.

He's wave 2, so if you find wave 2's you might find him.

Got some S2 but no hotheads @ 2 trus in vegas

After yesterday and today, I've got all the new figures with the exception(s) of Lightcore Jet-Vac, regular Jet-Vac (waiting for Wii U) and S2 Stump Smash.

It cost a fortune to buy one each of all the new stuff, but the gas saved by not having to drive all over metro Atlanta hunting probably evens things out.

If they put something on top that really stood out and said this figure would light up then I'm sure people would pay attention to it. I mean it does even say lightcore at the front. People like gimmicky things and the fact that people are ignoring these figures means the problem lies with packaging and again the choice of characters. If they had a light up Whammy, Camo and Warnado then these would be selling as good as the new figures.

As soon as the NEW skylanders sell out I'm sure they will see that they are different and gimmicky. lol

Yep! All it takes is one or a couple of youtube videos showing how these "lightcore" versions are different then I'm sure they'll start selling them more.

Also I got the impression that Jet Vac was a regular figure because again the packaging did not say so. I almost missed out on him and I first did not get him when the lady asked if I wanted a Jet-Vac thinking I already had one from my starter.

FYI I think most people don't know that the light core figures light up.

I didn't know jet vac was a light core either until I saw my receipt and saw a light core purchase. I just might go back to tru and double check the figures and see if maybe just maybe I find a rare skylander.

I called TRU an hour before leaving the house and the guy looked and said they had PLENTY of Flashwing. But when I got there they were all gone. No HotHead, No LC- Jet Vac, no Sproket. But they had TONS of the Legendary 3-packs.
So I only got myself the S2 Slam Bam there.

I did manage to get the LAST Granite Crusher at Target as well, but for some reason he doesn't light up on the portal. Maybe he's defective? I have another coming in the mail. So hopefully that one won't disappoint me He's still nice to have though but I may trade him for a Regular Crusher or Bouncer if I can find someone to trade with.

But went to Gamestop and got myself Pop Fizz and Chill there. So I didn't have a bad day either. Nice to see I'm not the only one who had success getting the last G- Crusher the next day LOL. I was shocked to see him there.

I'd love to get my hands on that Flashwing though....

It seems like most stores got little shipment of Hot Head. I was at TRU by 11, an hour after they were opened and they only had 3. My sister went to her TRU and they had one left of Hot Head and plenty of the other wave 2s.

Yeah, Granite Crusher is suppose to light up. Its pretty bright too if you look at my video/picture. You most likely have a defective one. =(
