So far, there are reports of Target, Walmart, and even GameStop having the second wave figures. I can at least confirm the Walmart speculation; I bought them there last night. Quantities were limited, but aside from Hot Head and LC Jet Vac, every character was present and accounted for. That being said, go to your local stores even if they are not Toys R Us. Reserving your search for TRU only may well end up costing you the very figures you were hoping to find there today.

The reason for the sudden emergence of Wave 2 seems to be that initial orders were oversold. Every printed Wave 1 character had already shipped, but many more were on order, and Activision sent out the second assortment to fulfill these orders. Not to TRU alone, but to everywhere that placed orders for more boxes than they had available Wave 1 figures. This means, if the people in your store say they have more on back order, they are almost definitely referring to Wave 2 figures. Many stores have them already, and many more are getting them by the day.

Yeah, good luck to those who need them. I am glad everything seems to be better on the Skylanders stock front. Perhaps Activision and TFB really learned their lesson and scalpers will be stuck with tons of stock or just leave Skylanders alone.

I hope they have it together this time, I really do. I think they've already burnt through most of the initial printings, though, and things could get bad come Christmastime if this rate of sale keeps up. Not for Wave 2+, but for the characters we all thought were going to be dirt-common yesterday morning. The sad truth is, the warehouses are already depleted, and I don't think we'll be seeing Wave 1 again for a while once this initial rush clears.

The only store here that had wave 2 today was TRU. I checked a few Walmart's and Target but all they had was wave 1 stuff.

Although other places have wave 2, TRU is doing the sale. I saved a ton. It's basically 20% off.

After grabbing all avail characters at Target and TRU on release day and thanks to this site I prepped to be at TRU at 7:30 today and found myself alone in the parking lot till 8:30. When the doors opened I was surprised to see the extremely limited quanties of the 2nd wave. As the ten or so people that scrambled into the store to search the three areas the store had characters i picked up sprocket and flashwing right away but had to go to another spot to grab hothead. there were maybe 6 of each wave 2 in the whole store. however i am happy to be able to give my kids all of the avail figures for Christmas.

Sorry still going to TRU today...lol they have a sale going on. But I am also hitting Gamestop, for I have a bunch of credit

I went to Walmart at 5AM and they had nothing new. Boo!

Yes. I also saw that every other figure I bought was getting the BOGO percentage off. 1st $9.99, 2nd $5.99 on each one. Giant was $14.99 and the LC fig came down to $7.19. Nice!

Went to TRU just now. All they had was 1 Gill Grunt, 1 Hex, and no Flashwing, sprocket, triple pack, light core, or Hot Head.

Stopped at Target. Nothing.

Going in Walmart now. No Wave 2 at all.

I think we all can see who is the whiner in this forum.

It's not so much she's upset about Wave 2. I think it's just she's upset that you guys get Sprocket first. Nibelilt and I have been looking forward to Sprocket since the initial leak, and we were two of a very small amount of people who really liked her right from the beginning. So it's just annoying that two of her biggest fans right from the start aren't able to get her in her first run, and we're going to have to wait until later when the paint jobs won't be as nice. I honestly don't care that you guys get FlashWing and Hot Head first, it's just the Sprocket thing that annoys me.

It's funny how people have completely forgotten that I was just as gung-ho about Sprocket at first as Nibelilt. It's just I haven't mentioned it as much as she has. I guess as a Canadian, I'm just kind of used to the USA pooping all over me.

I actually don't give a damn about them getting Sprocket first. It's that Activision are choosing to spoil America... again.

So...Activision is an American company. They probably get more sales from America than they do the UK, Canada and Australia combined. They gave UK and Australia the GITD Fright Rider and everything else. This Wave 2 release was essentially a sneak preview and I think it's a great tactic...give us a taste...the only people nabbing them is the die hards. AND!!! I wouldn't be surprised if UK and Australia and or Canada get a sneak preview of wave 3 before the US...wanna take some wagers on this one? I bet you won't complain then...and neither will I. Why? Because we all have A LOT of toys to play with. So enjoy what you have and stop poo pooing.

As a Canadian I kind of feel robbed, We're right next door and yet we get jack squat.

Also Canadian's can't get Sidekicks so we're getting pretty shafted up here.

i only got 1 TRU close to my location, and they pretty much destroyed when it came to WAVE 2.... They still have large inventory of Wave 1 though....

but maybe if i can get some money togather before the sales end, i can maybe pick up at least Hot Head

My Walmart is only bringing out new figures each day (1-2 boxes) at midnight... BOO! I would only be able to check on Friday turning to Saturday, and Saturday turning to Sunday.
